The animal shall be at least 12 weeks old before it may be treated with rabies vaccine. Note that the animal has to be micro-chipped prior to receiving the vaccine. Should the animal have been vaccinated for rabies prior to receiving the microchip, it will have to be revaccinated in order to secure that the correct animal has been given the vaccine.

Your veterinarian should advise you regarding when to revaccinate. If the revaccination is not given at the right time, the animal will have to retake the blood sample and wait another 6 months before entering the U. K.
