It is your responsibility as a shipper to secure that all required documentation for entering the destination country is in order.

 

Documentation required might be rabies vaccination certificate, health certificate, etc. Make sure that you send the original documents along with your pet and keep copies for yourself.

 

To secure that you have the correct documents and that the correct vaccination/treatments have been performed on your pet, you should always contact the authorities in the destination country for information. This is usually handled by the Department of Agriculture in most countries. In the United States, it is handled by the Department of US Fish and Wildlife Service.
