Further information concerning pet travel

If you should need to cancel or postpone your pet travel arrangements then please remember to advise your Trust Forwarding office of these changes.

It is your responsibility as a shipper to ensure that all required documentation is in order for entrance to the destination country.

The documentation required may include for example: a rabies vaccination certificate, a health certificate, etc. Make sure that you send the original documents together with your pet while keeping copies for yourself.

To ensure that you have the correct documents and that your pet has received the correct vaccination/treatments, you should always contact the authorities in the destination country for relevant information.

This is usually handled by the Department of Agriculture in most countries. In the United States it is handled by the Department of US Fish and Wildlife Service.
